Aftercare Assistant
Support the Centre Manager and help children take part in safe, fun and play-based activities.
- Help prepare and run daily activities.
- Support children during play and routines.
- Help keep the space safe and organised.
- Work closely with the Centre Manager and team.
Centre Manager
Lead the day-to-day programme and help the team provide safe, consistent care for every child.
- Manage daily centre operations.
- Guide the aftercare team.
- Communicate with families and the school.
- Keep activities, routines and safety on track.

Service Hours
Aftercare usually runs from 12:00 to 18:00. Holiday care usually runs from 07:00 to 18:00. Your actual shift will depend on the role and site.
Age Groups
Club Engage works with preschool and primary school children. The age group may differ from one site to another.
Training
Training may include induction, online learning and practical guidance. The team will explain what is needed for your role.
